It’s All About the Stories

Lineup for 2017 Tales from the Tour announced!

Tales From the Tour

Our first event for 2017 happens on Monday, January 30 at 6:30 p.m., the first day of the Waste Management Phoenix Open tournament week.

This year we have Tom Lehman joining us. Tom was an Assistant Captain for the winning 2016 Ryder Cup team (as well as a former Captain and player). His stories about teamwork and what went into last year’s U.S. victory will entertain and inspire you.

Ted Scott, caddie for Bubba Watson (who was also an Assistant Captain at the 2016 Ryder Cup), will join us. Ted has been on stage with us in the past and is both funny and insightful. You will not want to miss what he has to say.

Last year Aaron Baddeley amazed the crowd, and even his fellow panelists, with his putting process. Then he went out and won the Barbasol Championship, getting back into the winner’s circle. This year he’ll be back to talk about that, as well as his great showing back in Australia.

Finally, Andrew Yun, a rising star from the Web.com tour who grew up in Chandler and now lives in Scottsdale, will be joining us. Andrew finished tied for second in the first Web.com event of the year, shooting even par for 72 holes in 25 mile per hour winds (gusting to 40!). Not only is that story great, so is his story!

Bring the whole family, bring your friends, bring your pro. It’s great fun, interactive, and memorable stuff. You’ll love it!

Tales From the Dugout

The Phoenix area is the spring training home for about half of the Major League Baseball’s teams. During that time we host Tales from the Dugout, and some of the game’s biggest names have gathered to share baseball and life stories. This is a unique opportunity to get to know players in a way you would never expect. Pujols, Zito, Affeldt, Goldschmidt, Hamilton, Zobrist. Yeah, guys like that. And stories like you wouldn’t hear unless you were hanging out with the fellows down at the park. Unlike the Tour event, the date for the Dugout is a little different every year.

We hope you take a moment to watch video of some of the stories from past events, and we hope that you will join us in 2017 for golf and baseball. If you haven’t done so already, just fill in three fields on the Keep Me Informed< form on the main website home page. We’ll keep you updated about our next scheduled event. Thanks for stopping by!
