Tales From the Tour 2016 – Don’t Miss It

Join us on Monday, February 1 at 6:30pm for the 2016 edition of the Tales from the Tour golf event. We have a wonderful line-up of golf professionals who’ll share tales from their lives on tour, and stories about their paths to success.

Golf Instruction

We will begin the evening with golf instruction from some of the most outstanding teachers and players around.

Utley 120x100Heading the team is Stan Utley, ranked by Golf Digest (in other words, by his peers) as the Number 1 instructor in all of Arizona, and Number 14 in the nation! Stan is a “short game guru,” and started being approached for help by Tour players even while he himself was competing on the Tour! He is now a member of The Champions Tour and will play events when he is not teaching at Grayhawk.

during round one of the Valero Texas Open at TPC San Antonio AT&T Oaks Course on March 26, 2015 in San Antonio, Texas.Aaron Baddeley, PGA Tour player and three time winner, will be part of your teaching team, as members of the audience submit questions for the team to address. With a hitting area on stage, the team might even ask you to “come on up” so they can look at your swing in person!

thumbAlso on the team will be Jeffrey Cranford from La Quinta, California. He is a former Southern California PGA Championship champion, a shooter of a 59 after he turned 50 (!), and the holder of numerous course records around the country. He’s also worked with several Tour players on their games, and is a sought after teacher.

Tales Talk

Following all of that, Jeff Cranford will interview PGA TOUR players Zach Johnson, the 2015 Open Champion at St. Andrews, and Mark Wilson, the winner of the 2011 Waste Management Phoenix Open. Suffice it to say, the evening will be filled with great stories about life on tour and their route to the top of the game. It will be a lot of fun and very inspiring!

The venue is Scottsdale Bible Church (warm and comfortable, in a brand new auditorium with individual well-cushioned seats) on Shea Road in Scottsdale. Directions are available here.

This FREE event is suitable for the entire family, and we are strongly encouraging junior golfers to attend. Invite your friends as well. No tickets or advanced registration required.
